The International STEM Conference 2018 held an expert panel Q&A session, with a line-up of some of the world’s most forwarded thinking teachers and STEM specialists.
A key question put to our audience was… “Who has an existing STEM strategy in place at school?”
Out of over 100 teachers and leaders, only two people have a STEM strategy. A large percentage of schools either don’t have any planning in place at all, or they have implemented STEM in school without a clear strategy.
In the shift towards identifying the power of scientific and technological innovation, as we collectively look towards solutions to the challenges of our modern times; education becomes increasingly more important in our journey. Ensuring schools have a clear vision and strategy to support the development and execution of STEM is fundamental.
