14th December 2007 - Gordon Campbell takes over from Michael Roberts
 |
|
Michael Roberts retired as Managing Director of Technology Supplies Ltd, in December 2007, responsibility for the continued growth of the business passed to his successor Gordon Campbell.
Gordon said:
“It is a great honour and a wonderful opportunity to take over the helm as Managing Director of Technology Supplies Ltd and to build on the extremely successful formula that has seen the Company grow significantly over the past 20 years.
|
The founders, Michael Roberts & Roger Weeks, have provided the solid foundation for the next phase of expansion and I look forward to working closely with our customers, suppliers and staff in taking the Company forward.
Technology Supplies Ltd is moving into an exciting new era. A vital element of our 2008 strategy is to implement new and important business IT systems to enhance the existing processes in order to provide an even higher level of service to our customers. We are also investing heavily in the Projects Division of our business with the appointment of two new Project Managers and two new Project Engineers. These four appointments will provide the necessary additional resource in this rapidly expanding arm of our business.
Due to the rapid growth of the Company we will be initiating the process of finding appropriate commercial land for the investment of a ‘purpose built’ facility in 2010. A number of meetings with the Shropshire County Council and North Shropshire District Council have already been held and we will be working closely with these bodies during the course of the next 12 months to secure the ideal property for this future development.
I look forward to working together in this dynamic new phase of our business growth. Most importantly, we will continue to apply our core values of integrity, honesty and respect in dealing with our customers and suppliers.”
