	Locktronics Group Kit LK70 Ref: 250-650 The Locktronics system consists of electronic components mounted underneath tough moulded polystyrene carriers with the appropriate circuit symbol on the top surface. Circuits are assembled by inserting these carriers between metal baseboard pillars which act as connectors. The special self-cleaning plated phosphor bronze springs on the carriers ensure excellent electrical contact and as no wires or other forms of connection are used the final uncluttered layout looks very like the circuit diagram. Components can be removed and changed easily without disturbing the whole circuit. A student needs a base board with a selection of components which can either be purchased separately or in the form of kits which cater for different levels and topic areas. This kit has the versatility to provide assignments in both systems and a component based approach. It contains all the components necessary to cover a wide range of projects such as: electrical units; switches; resistance (series parallel identification measurement); Ohm's law; the Wheatstone bridge; AC current and rectification; the LDR; relays; the thermistor capacitors; the transistor; delay circuits; transducers; light sensitive circuits and the LED.
